99 Cent Latte Day

For those of you who were particularly interested in the Cutting Down on Coffee and More Coffee Savings discussion that we had last month, I thought I'd mention something that I saw on Coupon Mom's blog today: 99 cent coffees at Dunkin' Donuts on Tuesday! The deal is only good from 1 PM until 10 PM on February 26th. You can get a small latte, cappuccino, or espresso for just 99 cents!

So, if you are looking for a cheap treat, this sounds good!

That's great!

I'm still thinking about your question about why it's so important to go to the store and I think it has to do with being pampered. Someone makes it for me and cleans up after me (very big for someone as lazy as me). Maybe that's why I love it when my hubby makes my breakfast. Well, that and I love him. =)

Also, coffee shops are a place away from the rest of your life. There's no messy kitchen, no work waiting for you. It's a lot like a bar except for the relaxing/oblivion part.

Good points about why to go to the coffee shop instead of staying home. In the end that type of thing ends up being about how you want to spend your money.

For someone like me, that wouldn't be important at all, so I'd probably put my cash on a daily/weekly basis elsewhere. But if it's a great treat for someone else, hey - go for it...assuming you've got the resources. That's the great part about financial freedom; you can choose to spend your money however you'd like!
